  1. The Library of Congress has an extensive collection of historical photographs. Many of these have been digitized; the collection is also searchable and many images are out of copyright.
  2. International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property – (ICCROM) providing updated information concerning the state of archaeological sites and historic areas around the world.
  3. United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization – (UNECO World Heritage Center) responsible for disseminating information concerning heritage maintenance to the international community.
  4. Archaeology in Syria — Facebook page dedicated to the current situation facing many archaeological sites in Syria.
